Refer to the back side of your bill to see service code abbreviations, Mayor and Council contact
information, and a Department Directory.
If you have questions on your utility bill, you can call 628-4173 or stop in at City Hall, 825 Broadway Street.
City Hall's office hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
There is a customer charge for all services that is included in the amount due for each service.
All bills are mailed the last business day of the month for the previous month's usage and are due the
20th of the following month.
Please keep paths to meters clear. We need access to meter in order to provide accurate billing
information as well as to keep our meter readers safe. Please keep dogs away from meters.
If you are concerned that your bill is running high for electricity, take a moment to review the portion
of your bill right under the stub portion that lists critical information about your bill. First, check to
see how many days were in the cycle to see if it was an unusually long period for that billing cycle.
Then check to see what the average temperature was for that month and also compare it to what the
average temperature was last year (located to the right of the average temperature for the month).
All of these can help you determine if there is a reasonable explanation for a higher electricty bill.
