About Community Center Arts
Community Center Arts programs receive recognition
for excellence and funding support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the
1999 Charity Ball, the City of Pella, the Iowa Arts Council, Arts Midwest, Pella
Community Foundation as well as corporate and individual donations.
Programs are extensive, innovative, and affordable and include exhibitions, performances,
classes and outreach projects throughout the community and schools. Programs are
staffed by local, regional and national artists.
Partnership with Pella Opera House, Central College, schools, PTO, Crossroads and
Union Street Players help stretch resources and create dynamic programs. Volunteers
are always welcome.
The Community Center serves the citizens of Pella by providing facilities and leadership
in the development of the arts, recreational, cultural, civic, educational and social
activities.
